TESTIMONIES ABOUT THE BOOK

“Hello, Apostle Ifeoma. I am writing to thank you for writing the wonderful book God’s Weapons of Warfare. My amazing Pastor kindly lent me the book a few weeks back as I wanted to know more about the Armour of God.

Your book has truly touched and inspired me as a relatively new Christian and has taught me more wonderful things about the mighty Lord. I thank God for your life and work in writing this book. God bless you”—N. L., Manchester.

“Dear Rev. Ifeoma, God’s Weapons of Warfare is a great book for those who want to learn more about Spiritual Warfare with the enemy. Only once you are established in the right foundations, reading the word of God and speaking it over any situation, can you begin to take the territory back from the adversary, and then to actively attack his strongholds to bring them down. In this book, you can learn all about your God-given spiritual armour and weapons and how to use them!”—J.H. Southport

Ifeoma Fiiriter diligently explains her deeply held truths, those that accomplish His plans and purposes. “Dear Rev. Ifeoma, It was an ‘amazing grace’ to meet you at the Manchester Women’s Aglow where you ministered on Saturday 27 January 2007. I thank God that our paths crossed. I knew the day, three years ago, when I discovered your book, God’s Weapons of Warfare in a local charity shop at Hale that God’s hand was upon my life. Like so many women, I had felt the pain of rejection, abandonment, and emotional and physical abuse from my husband. I had lived in a spiritual wilderness for many years.

In 2001, with a group of Christian friends, I designed a ‘Flower festival.’ By the time the festival was near to being shown, I was almost unable to walk, sit, or stand. I spent most of the time flat on my back, directing others. I knew God had placed all those ‘angels’—my friends around me. In November, I had major spinal surgery; the alternative was a wheelchair.

During this period, my husband became more loving in public to me, but when no one was around, extremely cruel. He isolated me from my friends. He told them I did not wish to see them, that I was behaving very strangely, and that he was concerned for my mental state. I only discovered this much later. He would bring food that was hardly edible to me.

On one occasion, I discovered he had retrieved some food that had been in a waste bin and given it to me to eat. He left me for long periods to be with his mistress. I have many experiences to speak of. I battled for three years through the legal process to extricate myself from this man.

The spiritual battle, however, has taken much longer. Satan had taken a stronghold, and he was not going to let me escape without a fight. Again, God took my hand in His throughout my time of trial. I feel Psalm 23 is my witness to the greatness of our Lord.

Your book, God’s Weapons of Warfare, belongs to the verse, ‘I fear no harm; besides me, your rod and your staff, are there to hearten me’ (Jerusalem Bible). The afternoon I found your book in that charity shop, I had been battle-scarred and weary. I had felt like giving up the fight, thinking, ‘what was the point, my husband always won in the end? Was God always going to allow the devil to torment me, ridicule me, and have every victory (as it seemed to me then, in my weak spiritual state)?’ I wasn’t using spiritual weapons then.

I want to tell you that your book was an absolute sign to me from God that He does not break His promises, that He is with me through every trial, and that He has plans to prosper me. Your book gave me an illumination, a different way to face attack—a new meaning to ‘turning the other cheek.’

Bless you for your openness and devotion to our LORD, to be a vessel for His divine revelation. Today, especially after meeting you, I feel ‘amazing grace’ and most of all, peace. I slept for twelve hours (12 hours), and have woken refreshed, with a new sense of purpose.

The last verse of Psalm 23 expresses my feeling at this moment— ‘Ah, how goodness and kindness pursue me, every day of my life; my home, the house of Yahweh, as long as I live!’ May God bless you and keep you and your family in His loving embrace”—W. S., Altrincham.
